The WASH Foundation

What is the WASH Foundation

The WASH Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health and quality of life in vulnerable communities by expanding access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Through global partnerships and community-based programs, the foundation provides clean water resources, hygiene supplies, and education that help prevent disease and promote long-term public health. Its work includes initiatives such as WASH education in schools and healthcare facilities, menstrual hygiene programs that empower women and girls, disaster response efforts, and community programs that support sustainable sanitation infrastructure. By combining education, infrastructure, and local training, The WASH Foundation aims to create lasting solutions that reduce waterborne illness and help communities build healthier, more resilient futures.

How we work together

ManeStream Innovation is proud to partner with the The WASH Foundation to expand access to safe water and hygiene infrastructure in underserved communities. Through this collaboration, The WASH Foundation will help implement and distribute 20 PureFlow Water Stations in May 2026 across several schools, hospitals, and villages in Uganda. These stations are designed to provide reliable access to clean water while also supporting proper handwashing and sanitation practices. ManeStream develops the PureFlow systems and provides the filtration technology and design, while The WASH Foundation works directly with local partners and institutions to coordinate on-the-ground implementation, installation, and community training. By placing the systems in critical locations such as schools, healthcare facilities, and community centers, the partnership ensures that large numbers of people can benefit from safe drinking water and improved hygiene practices every day.
